What is Solea Sleep?

How does Solea Sleep work?

Most people who snore are "palatal" or mouth snorers, which means when they snore, their soft palate tissue vibrates as it has relaxed over time. With Solea sleep, a laser of a specific wavelength is gently applied to rapidly tighten collagen fibers of the soft palate tissue in a single session. This tightening ends up opening the airway, which reduces vibrations disrupt the patients' sleep.

Can we treat sleep apnea with Solea Sleep?

Solea Sleep cannot be used as a treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), which involves completely or partially obstructing the airway and reducing the level of oxygen in the blood. But, snoring is considered a major symptom of sleep apnea patients, and so with this treatment, you can get relief from snoring and better quality of sleep.
